May Russell (born Meiling Russell on December 27, 1997) is an Australian professional wrestler. She is signed to ScrapYard, an affiliate promotion of the Armbar Error Society.

Independent Circuit (2015-2017)

May initially wrestled for a small Australian promotion based out of Sydney before moving to the United States after a falling-out with her trainer in Australia. She would work the independent circuit in the US Midwest, focusing on Michigan and Ohio. She is notable for a run in NorthEast Ohio Wrestling where she acted as a sort of "champion killer," forcing several title changes (notably including those of Viveanne and Marie Hearn). Despite this, she never won a championship herself.

Armbar Error Society (2017-present)

May would eventually sign with the revival of ScrapYard, now under the umbrella of the Armbar Error Society. She debuted in the match to crown the Cast Iron Champion on ScrapYard Act 1, being the first to insert herself into the match between Joseph James and Kamara Moore. She and Joseph James would then take the fight outside the ring and through the arena, preventing either from claiming the championship. Both parties agreed to a match on Scrapyard Act 2, and it took three consecutive GTS/Penalty Kick combinations and a Goodnight Eileen for May to lose the match.

May would proceed to antagonize Anette Moreno through the following episodes despite Anette's willingness to team with her. After some frustration caused by a perceived lack of appreciation by management, she then attacked Rich Lawton as he was making his way to the ring to fight Kat$u ¥amada. She would then fight, and lose, against him, leading her to reluctantly accept Anette's offer. The two would form Wreckless Abandon (more commonly referred to as AneMay), debuting at ScrapYard Act 5 in a match against The Coast Guardians. While May's participation in that match was brief, it was extremely effective, with May picking up the pin to win the match. The two are set to face Valentine's Day (Valentine March and an undetermined partner) and the World Domination Squad at Act 6 to determine the #1 Contender to the Chain Link Championship.

Personal Life

In spite of her anger issues, May is an accomplished martial artist. She expressed a desire to do movie stuntwork before turning to professional wrestling. May is also fond of theatre and was in her high school's drama club, though she tries to distance herself from that.
